Following my presentation at the hashtag#GDI2025 conference last week, I’ve been reflecting on a number that should haunt our industry.
We talk a lot about the $2.5 billion in construction rework costs. We talk about the $31,000 profit leak per build. But there is a much more critical figure: $145 million.
